Privacy Policy

RĒSUNIX inc. endeavors to handle personal information with care, in accordance with Law 25 and PIPEDA.

1. Privacy Officer

Name: Stéphane Parent Title: Privacy Officer Company: RESUNIX inc. Email: privacy@resunix.ca Address: 3235 de la Gare Avenue, Mascouche, QC, Canada, J7K 3C1

2. Nature of the site and contact form

resunix.ca is a static informational website. It has no application database, no user accounts and no server-side data processing.

The contact form uses the mailto protocol: when a visitor submits the form, the information entered is passed to the email client installed on the visitor's device. The visitor initiates the email from their own client. RĒSUNIX inc. then receives this email in its mailbox.

Data entered in the form does not pass through RĒSUNIX inc.'s web servers and is not stored on those servers.

The site uses no cookies, no analytics tools, no trackers and no automatically loaded external resources.

3. Server technical logs

Like any web server, the server hosting resunix.ca automatically generates technical logs containing connection metadata, including:

  • the visitor's IP address;
  • the date and time of the request;
  • the URL requested;
  • the browser and operating system used.

These logs are generated for security and technical administration purposes. They do not contain data entered in the contact form. They are retained for a limited period, in accordance with standard server administration practices.

4. Information received by email

When a visitor sends an email through the contact form, the information transmitted may include:

  • name or organization;
  • phone number (optional);
  • sector of activity;
  • description of need.

This information is used solely to respond to the request, assess the need and follow up on a potential mandate. It is not sold, rented, exchanged or shared with third parties, except as expressly required by law.

It is retained in RĒSUNIX inc.'s email system for a maximum period of 2 years following the last contact or the end of the mandate, whichever occurs last, then securely destroyed.

5. Hosting and data location

resunix.ca is hosted by OVH Canada, whose data centers are located in Canada. Primary hosting is in Quebec. Resilience and operational continuity mechanisms may result in replication to other Canadian facilities, including Ontario.

Technical data remains at all times in Canada. OVH Canada is subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Canadian laws.

Emails received are stored in RĒSUNIX inc.'s email system, hosted in Canada.

6. Applicable legal framework

RĒSUNIX inc. endeavors to handle personal information in accordance with the following laws, which constitute its primary reference frameworks:

These situations are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Rights of individuals
